(idhitit)Ok, so last night I finally got to take apart my brakes. Thanks sooo much for the how to on how to remove and clean in the how to section. Anyways, I will postp ictures tonight or tomorrow on the whole process and you guys can let me know if you see anything fishy. Ok, so I made sure to shake everything I could to make sure nothing is clanking or shaking or anything like that. I couldn't find anything! So, I went ahead and took apart the caliper, well, I didn't take off the caliper completely where you can remove the rotor if need, but just took out the 8mm allen wrench and slid the caliper up. Ok, so I looked in there and saw a lot of rust on the edge of the rotor all the way around. I figured that was somewhat normal for having 91000 miles on it. I went ahead to take aprt the brake pads and clean up the rotor a little bit and pads. The pads looked good to me. The only thing I saw was a small wear on the inside top corner of the pad. Other than that nothing I could find wrong with the pads. Looked around a lil more and couldn't find anything. I just cleaned her up a lil bit. So, I put everything back on. And started to drive off, the car didn't even make a noise it was soo quiet. Till about 3 or 4 min into it and I slowed down. AND!!! BAM!! The damn knocking noise starts up again! Blah!!!! I started swearing like a drunken sailor. So, what is my next step? Change the pads then work my way up after that if the problem persists? (I will have pics of everything up tonight or tomorrow, since I'm at work right now and can't access my camera.) Thanks, Dustin
