ok guys and gays, iv been thinking real hard lately........ and i have decided against boosting my car...... i know i know i know BUT iv decided to sell everything i have accumulated so far and if all goes well, get my car running GREAT as an N/A
idk IMO i feel like people that modify their cars now a days are just buying parts, putting them on, which is cool, but i wanna do more involved stuff, wire tuck, interior, stance work s***, so thats what im going to do, hopefully sell all my parts and get a nice set of wheels, pullies, possibly a unique custom header of sorts. but anyway i just know im not boostin. its gonna be low and slow for me, lol
so i took measurements today of my strut clearance, and used that cool offset calculator online and went wheel searchin...
i have a 17x7 +40 offset right now, and i have apprx. 23-25mm of clearance to the strut.
and iv been looking at various wheel sizes like:
17 x 8 +30
and 17x9 +35
which yes i know would poke about an inch, the 17 x 9 clearance according to the offset calculator would be 20mm less/closer, which is cuttin it REAL close, imo. which would mean spacers to feel comfortable with the fitment.
OR
the 17x 8 +30
which would poke about half an inch but move the wheel only 3 mm closer, much better imo......
but damn it would be sick to get a 9 in there, and have an effective offset of +30,
either way im tryin to accomplish some minimal poke
