CiviCity Student Budget Build

A little late on topic, but I was the one who bought speedracrs blues and springs. Gotta say they are soooo much better than oem! Huge change! I really do like them, feels alot like coilovers, just not as stiff, but pleanty stiff for driving and mild corners. And I like my corners, front and back fenders are sitting even with the tires still no rub when cornering, pretty stiff. Make sure to get good springs too, well worth it I think without hassle of coilovers. Allthough I will go coilovers in the future, these are really nice, very happy with them! I would say they are worth it. Best christmas present ever!

Nice orders for LEDs, when you get them installed could you take a video of everything? I didn't want to go LEDs at first but its starting to grow on me as long as they don't glitch or keep having to be replaced im down for it

Coilovers aren't that complicated, 100% worth it imo. Once you get your hands on them its pretty straight forward.

I'd highly recommend them, I LOVE mine. As for advantages it depends what set you get. Yellowspeeds will have dampening adjustment as well as height obviously.

Yeah I'm definitely going with the tokico with the eibach pro kit. I made my mind!
Thanks for the quick simple review :P. I do find the oem springs/shocks way too soft and flimsy. I can't wait to get that "sportier" look and better handling!

Yeah sure bro. Might take a while before they arrive tho, but will keep you updated!
 
I just got rid of my coilovers in exchange for Tokico Illuminas and Tein S-Techs...they ride a lot better then the coilovers IMO, mainly because when I got the coils the car was very low...I just wanted something that I didn't have to mess with...

BTW: Glad to see you are enjoying the front lip...and working on the rest of those parts for ya!!!
 
I'm having a small problem with my tip tropic tranny, maybe someone could help me out.

This occurs generally when the car is cold, but it does also happen when it's all warmed out and been running for a while. When I pull the "lever" to upshift, nothing happens. I pull lightly, hard, slow, fast and nothing happens. Some other times it works flawlesly. It also works, 100% of the time, when i downshift.

I took it to the mazda dealership and they said that they don't know... Retards -_-

So what could I do to fix it? Or diagnostic the problem?
 
Update!

Just bought an OBX header with gasket. And also got my hands on those rare DaveB rings!! Can't wait for them to arrive :).
I'll probably be getting some new lights for my dashboard.

Dam how you got those Dave B rings? ive been looking for those all this time. lol you are luckky!!!!

Quick update. Car slid and hit a snowbank, this is the result…
Bumper is a little off also...
