Circuit's 03.5 Protege5

More progress today. Hid the Hella Supertones in the bumper, separated the engine harness as best I could and only had to cut 2 wires. Harness is pretty well sectioned off now. Wiper motor, arms, and full assembly removed. Just waiting on parts now. Need to make block-off plates for the holes left by removing AC and wiper motor.

Nice. Can't wait to have another car so I can do this to mine.

Gonna leave the fuse box as is?

Hey circuit i had a question, on the fourth pic. Of the hatch area, is that plastic surrounding the sub a stock part that comes with the p5 or is that more like an accessorie. If by any chance what is it called and if you have part numbers. Thanks

Weird the photos show up broken on this page, but in the OP they are fine...

The plastic tray is OEM and came with any P5 with the factory sub. I've never looked it up, but you may want to hit up a dealer and ask if they can look it up for you. It is actually 2 pieces and is split at the top center.

Man I'm glad you finally posted a build thread now I can know all your secrets muahaha :D jk but this is def one of my fave p5's

Refreshes the transmission today. Cleaned it up with steel wool and wire brushes before hitting it with a couple coats of VHT super high temp spray paint. Flat Aluminum is the color I believe. Also picked up an OEM Nardi out of a Miata. Will be doing a new wrap before putting it in.
