Chrome FD's...Opinions Wanted

-the black MSP is lowered on 15's with a little thicker sidewall than what the FDs have.. i think it pulls it off nicely

-the pic of the orange MSP is the only decent one i could find.. maybe he will chime in when he sees it and post up a few more pics

-as i said, im still half and half on these wheels.. the fitment looks great but im still trying to adapt to the chrome.. is that the reason most people dont like them or is it the fact theyre only 16's?

The chrome look doesn't bother me one bit. Look at my sig. I have Enkei RPO3's in the SBC finish. I just don't like having more than a 40 sidewall.

I like them but they do look a little funny without a nice drop all around. Once you lower the car, I bet they will look 10x better.

Not my style of wheel, the area around the hub is too large but with a smaller tire and adequate drop you could definitely pull it off

I'm not a big fan. Too small, IMO, and I don't like the chrome.

However, I think that by painting them a different color and lowering your MSP, you'd do okay.

I think orange MSP looks alright with the black FDs. Minus the 'lip' of orange -- that whole look is just so played out to me. (shrug)

^^ i told him to paint the lip black.. not many people really like the "time attack" style lip anymore.. some cars pull it off nicely though, depending on what it is.. the thing with orange though, its damn near impossible to match unless you get them professionally painted

Personally I like a little smaller rim with a little thicker sidewall. Having an 8" wide rim is nice for handling too. Then again I am biased since I own both sets lol. Personally I think they look great with a drop. Looks aggressive as hell in person. njaremka is right about the rears. You only need the spacer due to the center bore. Thats why I only run a 3mm in the rear.

As for my wheels with the "time attack" lip... I wanted to be different. No one around here has it and I've always liked color matched lips. Its all just spray painted right now. Once I can afford powder coating odds are they will be all black.

In the end its all down to personal opinion. Personally I like the meatier sidewall. Rides better. I hate low pro's with a passion. Like I said everyone will have a different opinion, but the only one that matters is yours. I say get them ;) I could use the money haha

haha, i will give ya a call sometime this week and let ya know whats goin on ... i havent had any one in person tell me they havent liked them and i like them as well so odds are, i will be buying them
