Yea its good that you finally been posting on this mazda forum, I prefer this one over the UK forum because theres more mods and more help, yea the mods are getting there slowly but surely lol, I sent you a reply to your PM :)

I'm liking the mods you got going on with the tablet etc, btw how did you get the centre console out to be painted, thinking of maybe adding some colour onto that myself

Chris

Just an update to the build, got a couple of goodies on the way from the good ol US of A, thank you to Derrick for setting that up, I shall post pics n stuff when they arrive, for now just have to leave it there :)

Chris

I got it when I bought the car, asked the dealer to steal it from a msp3 lol I think he just took it from a 3 though

Looking nice, how are the better brake rotors compared to standard? Thinking about upgrading mine to some grooved and drilled ones.

The combined use of the EBC Greenstuff pads and grooved discs work a treat, braking is much better and quicker compared to standard, only thing I advise you on is that the pads need a little warming up before any hard braking is done, by this I mean just a few short bursts of hard brake, otherwise they're a little less efficient when cold. I do recommend the grooved discs over the drilled stuff, did some research and many people with similar sized cars (corsa, fiesta) say noise was an issue with drilled discs. I went with EBC as they're sold on mazda aftermarket sites so saved me some time finding info for different sets and then choosing one.

Sorry to babble, hope this helps you

Hi Chris,
Im thinking of lowering my m2sport just wondering which lowering springs to get.... H&R 30mm or Apex 40mm drop. Have you got a picture of your car lowered on the Apexs it would be great if you could.

Thanks

I have indeed got them pictures, as already mentioned by ezzy, check out my 1st post, the 1st pic shows standard car height, further down I have a pic from the front lowered and from the side lowered, im using the Apex 40mm and tbh, they're great, I thought i'd be in for a harsher and firmer ride but they seem to have the same feel as the standard springs, just be careful of speed bumps and high kirbs, have had a few close shaves lol

Thanks for the heads up, might do this and add in braided brake lines too haha =]
No problem, I was thinkin of the braided lines but never did it, let me know if theres a noticeable difference with the braided lines

Well finally installed the Airduct for the SRI and the Short Shifter, and the airduct is helping in this UK heatwave but the biggest shock was how much difference the short shifter makes, there is no lost time between shifts now, literally out of 1st and into 2nd, its taking some getting used to though.

Some pics

Never have to many tools for the job :)

Got this in after nearly an hour of working out what the instructions were saying, as it just didn't seem to make sense lol

Well that's it for now, up next Exhaust ;)
