we allready did a meet this year at my place. lol. i hosted the fender meet like 2 months ago. i think it was on a sunday too! lol

whats wrong with having another one? I need my fenders rolled now.

The date was actually planned in January. Our goal was 08/08/08 since a lot of our members own RX-8s but Fridays aren't exactly the best for most people.

I'm happy to see the amount of interest on this board! We should end up with a large turnout!


I do want to plug one thing:

Since the event is free, everything is being brought by members and guests. (Food/utensils/entertainment/etc) If you would like to volunteer to bring anything, please do!

We have a list running in the first post of the thread on RX8 Club of what people are bringing, so if you want to help out check the list and post up what you will be bringing. You can post here so you don't have to actually sign up on rx8club, I will get it added to the list.

Anything you guys can bring would be a great help!

drinking was always a problem when i went to meets/picnics there. and some of the cops are pretty strict on having front license plates on your car. just fyi

Lol I plan to bring my car, I meant as far as food//drink wise is concerned and yes the cops at busse woods WILL be checking for front plates.. last DSM meet they held in busse woods those guys had a field day writing tickets for lame s***

Sorry I didn't check this earlier this week! I've been packing and moving the past couple days.

We do not support drinking at the event. Obviously we can't stop you, but we don't advertise drinking at car club meets. Basically don't be stupid and we won't have any issues!
