Checkout my new rims?

VERY nice! I really like those wheels. What brand/model/size are they?

Lowering is up to you. It doesn't have the slammed look, but whether you want to put up with a stiffer ride to get that is up to you. I think it looks pretty good as is. Also, if you get lowering springs you will probably want to upgrade your shocks as stock shocks tend not to like stiffer rate springs for too long...they will end up dead soon.

looks good

Nice wheels, are those the Konig Imagines...I like those. Anyhow, I would do the Eibach or H&R kit myself with that setup. Make sure though that you roll your back lip;s in the fender unless you like the rubbing sounds...nice car man...

s*** I just checked and they are a 40mm offset. You're really close to rubbing with a 205.40 even. I would suggest putting four of your heaviest friends in the car and driving around some uneven surfaces. If you rub on compression then you've answered your question.

I highly recommend against this fitment after what I had to go through, but good luck.

:D Thanks guys. They are 18" Konig Imagines, Tires are 215/35/R18. That is why I have doubts on lower it.

Actually, they have an offset of 45mm and I measured the distance from inside sidewall to struts and I still have about 1" clearance. And I made a deal with the shop I bought them from that if it rubs I'm taking it back.

Once again, thanks for the compliments. ;)

I could not find any sources showing a +45 so this concerns me. If you want to be sure before spening the money on lowering I'd remove one of the wheels and look on the back of it. There will be some indication of offset somewhere on the wheel pad or spoke.

s*** I thought you got 17's.. They will rub for sure. I ran the same fitment and had rubbing problems. Especially when lowered. My fitment recipe shows that for a 7.5" wheel you'll need a +48 or higher offset.

I guarantee you will rub. You should talk to the company. Camber bolts will not be a solution. It will only eliminate the rub on one side.

dang Rishie you da man bro...always giving out good advice to the members....

now PJ 5 I would say a drop would look nice but I wouldn't want you to ruin your tires by rubbing...:D

Thanks for the props. I would just hate to have a proto brother go through all the s*** I had to just to get good fitting wheels. Still beware when you load the car with people.

Thanks, Rishie

This car is amazing..can anyone tell me the mods on this vehicle.
Suspension?
Wheel Size? I want those Volks in 16's ..
Is that an Autoexe grill?
Thanks

Not sure if the LE's come in 16's, but you can get TE's for sure without the machined lip in that size.

I have all the Autoexe stuff. Just waiting for the Autoexe rear strut bar too come in August. The only thing missing from that pic is the front lip spoiler. I had it removed so we can prep it for molding.

Let me know what you're interested in and thanks for the compliment. The car will be featured at Import Revolution here in San Mateo. Keep an eye out as we're working very hard to make a large footprint with our Mazda fanaticism.

You should see the miata and rx7's when I'm done with them. Take a look around our mediocre photo page and you should run into a couple of them. Not all of my vehicles are up there for proprietary reasons. Wouldn't want any ideas stolen before a big show. hehe.

thanks, Rishie

Air Ride

Does anyone know or have an air ride in their car? If you do, what kind of set up do you have, I'm thinking about this option to lower my car?
