cheap shift boot?

now that I have my SS in and will be getting my momo knob soon I wanted a shift boot to match. I have a blue momo knob coming and the rest of the car will be mainly black/silver with blue touches here and there.

my question is would a boot like this work on a p5? I mean it says custom fit for honda/acura but it does not have a mounting plate so it would go on the stock one and since I have an SS I dont think there would be a fitment issue since it would be short anyway.

but im not sure, maybe the spacing or width of the sections between stitches is whats custom?

i dont know if that first one ends up being only 15-17 shipped it may be worth a possible waste of money just to see if it worx.

The Momo boots, although kind of expensive (around $40) are great with Momo knobs. The boot screws onto the bottom of the knob. No goofy gap, a real clean install. I have that setup (black boot with a combat knob) in my Probe.

Not the cheapest, but will work well with what you have.

Momo boots are made in black, silver, blue, yellow, and red by the way.

Oh yeah... A friend of mine is making/selling real leather boots for RX-8's now. He's got stock of red and black leather so they can be one of those solid colors or two-tone.

I want to get rid of the stupid vinyl boot in my MSP so I'm going to loan him my boot for patterns.

I'll post something when we're done. I think they are only like $35 or something.

dude i went to advanced auto parts and got one..its black leather with red stiching..i'll snap a pic tomorrow..its nice..and CHEAP!
