Would putting that pennzoil synchromesh and lucas fluid in eat away the seals if I haven't been running that fluid for approx 55k?

I guess it's time to change my tranny oil (after I have fixed my engine,) but I don't know if we have another kinds of oil here in Europe.
I have some Durablend GL-4 75 90 from Valvoline in my garage. (yellow in color)
Anyone here know if I can use that oil or should I get another kind for my MSP?

why don't you try the redline ones , or mobil 1 (you should be familiar w/ that)

Today, i was going to change my tranny oil. i went to pepboys and autozone to look for ither redline oil or royal purple. and found nothing.. only 74 140.. i need 75 90.. is there any other oil good to use like moble 1???? i hear some whining comeing from the tranny and since i bought the car i havent changed it.. other then dat im just wating for my lsd to go (blowup)

the thing is royal purple is lighter compare to synchromesh , its good for winter but summer is not. so combination of light and thick one is necessary to survive the condition up north jersey.

Just changed the tranny fluid yesterday ... what a difference

2qts valvoline synthetic and 1qt lucus

I love it ... so smooth .. no grinds ... way to go

I just finished changing the tranny fluid using 2QTs Pennzoil Synchromesh and 1QT Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. My car shifts so smoothly now!!! Feels like she scoots a little better too, but the significant improvement in feel is really what I was looking for. I'm really glad I did this!

The only thing that I could find a how-to on was an Auto tranny flush. How did you get the fluid into the fill plug? The angle won't let you get a regular funnel? Your help is appreciated.

I think it's a 5/8ths hose you need. Remove the fill bolt and find a hose that'll fit inside. You'll use the funnel, hose and a clamp to hold the hose onto the funnel. I'd say a foot is about what you need.
