Changing oil to Synthetic

It's time for the first oil change since I purchased the MP3 and I am going to put Mobile 1 synthetic in it. My question, is it necessary to completely drain all of the old oil by removing the oil pan and dumping that out or would it be safe to drain by the plug and then fill up with synthetic?

after a certain milage, it's not recomended to go from dino oil to synthetic

Your fine to just put the synthetic in anytime, it won't hurt the engine.

yeah you can just change to synthetic. but ive always heard once you go synthetic to never go back. it wouldn't be good for the engine

^^ They should not charge you. I drop mine all the time at Auto Zone. They dont even check to see if it's really oil. lol I just dump it and go.
