IMO Id say paint it to match. Your car was looking way to clean to throw some carbon fiber on there. Looks good either way still though.

I know its a shame to paint over that beautiful carbon fiber. But to tell you the truth the carbon grille felt out of place on my black P5 and I just sold it and kept it stock.

Buy a cf hood and keep it, or paint it if you plan on keeping the yellow hood.

i may sell the cf grill and do exactly that.

Thats why I'm just going to buy the Fiberglass AutoExe grill and paint it stock color. (ughdance)

well, thats what i did but there was a slight mix up so i went with the cf to see how i like it....at this point, ill most likely end up painting it to match.

Yea since you already have it just paint it. I just didn't want to pay more money when I didn't really like the style. It is all personal preference. But for me the stock grill looks great with the emblem painted black.

Yeah man, since u already have it go ahead and paint it !

Why paint the CF? Just sell it, get the FG version (almost half the cost) and paint that. That's what I have.

.. Just make sure to 'think ahead' before you permanently decide what you wanna do.

If you ever plan on getting a CF hood, eyelids, anything else -- you might want to leave the grill unpainted. I have CF mirror covers, eyelids, grill, and hood .. and I only painted the 'middle section' of my hood, because the rest of the visible CF has a 'theme'. If you wanna eventually do something like that, think twice about painting.

However, if you plan on sticking with the yellow stock parts, OR if you plan on getting more CF and just painting that -- then definitely just go ahead and paint the grill now.

Just make sure, if you DO get it painted, that you take it to a body shop that you KNOW has a good reputation! :)

oh yea, definately! im taking it to the body shop who repaired my initial damages. as far as other appreance mods, a cf hood is definately out of the pic (i had my hood repainted and baught the rockblocker kit), i may end up getting eyelids (cf or fiberglass, not sure of that either). but yes, i will think ahead for sure!!
