Centerpoint does not function with all input sources.

And unless Bose re-worked the Centerpoint feature since my 2013 MY, you want the feature turned off at all times.

Centerpoint is a simulated surround sound option on the Bose equipped audio systems.

In the 2016 it works but it's basically a useless function. I keep it off.

I kind of like it, depending on the source. The higher fidelity the source, the better it sounds.
