Cellphone Data transfer(LG VX8000)

Hey, I have a USB connector for my cellphone, the LG VX8000, and was wondering if there is any free software out there that allows me to transfer data back and forth? I found a few, but they all cost money =P

use bitpim. i have that same phone and through the use of BitPim i have been able to get music and pictures to the phone as well as use the cable to hook up my phone to my laptop and get broadband speeds with the vcast stuff. i love this phone. can't wait for the 8100!

I found bitpim, only problem is I can't transfer music under the "tunes" section, also I can't put movies on it. =/

i've never tried to put movies on it. check out this website and they should be able to help you do anything with that phone

howardforums.com had tutorials on how to upload movies and music. I found a site, however that has saved a bunch of video for your phone, but it's all like .3gp format. Uh, wtf? When I record a video on my phone it's 3g2, which for some reason I can play with quicktime. Not 3gp though.
