I know it's a friggin cell phone but EVERYONE has one. Other than my grandparents, I don't know one person who doesn't have a cell phone. Personally, I wish I didn't have one. They are a huge annoyance. I probably use 150 mins. a month tops but 100 of them are work related so I do need to see who's calling.C-Bass said:It's a friggen cell phone. Just toss it on the seat. I have the same thing too.BoOsTiN said:I used to use the mini Recaro seat holder but now I have a tmobile sidekick.
The sidekick is too big so i just throw it in the cup holder.
I agree!DaViper said:I really think there should be a law across the U.S. such as the ne that exists in NYC. A handsfree kit really should be required if you want to use your cell phone while driving. Too many accidents occur because of cell phones, especially with moms in big suv's. I almost got hit by a truck a few months ago, while trying to pull out my phone when it was ringing.....I decided right at thst moment that it was time for a professional handsfree kit....it's not worth taking chances and I am much safer while talking on the phone now.

Well, the handsfree can be fine especially if the phone has voice dialing. On mine I just tap the button on the side and say the name of the person I want to call and it dials for memisbehave said:I agree!
I saw so many times those women trying to make a turn with one hand in their huge ass SUVs because their other hand were holding the god damn cell phone, and of course they couldn't turn the steering wheel enough with just one hand. They either cut the corner or over lap their lane and almost hit the cars in the opposite direction or the car on the next lane.
Actually, I would even recommend a law to forbit driver to use cellphone in a moving vehicle regardless with the use or handsfree kit or not.
A lot of time when the light turn green and the SUV ahead of me isn't moving at all because the woman driving it was talking or dialing her cell phone and completely gotten her full attention to the call and didn't pay attention to the road at all.
I have the either hunk them or blink them with high beam( at night) to tell them it's green. I got so annoyed by it.

I put mine on the left vent cause that one you could close.misbehave said:But the bad thing about puting it there is if I want to turn on the heater, I will have to put the cell phone somewhere else cause I worry it will get overheat.
Well, that wasn't my idea, maybe I should have said it better in other way.C-Bass said:Man, that's just stupid. That's just like saying there should be a law forbidding having a conversation with the person in the passenger seat. While we're at it, why don't we just eliminate radios and only allow 1 seat per motor vehicle to be installed.
Here's a thought, how about we just make a law forbidding fucktards from operating motor vehicles instead.

Crock, I wasn't trying to trivialize your thread, my point was that if you weren't concerned about bling factor, just tossing it in the cup holder or on the passenger's seat is a perfectly acceptable solution. Like I said earlier, I just leave mine in the leg pocket of my cargo pants, where it always is.
I first thought about putting there too, but I figure out that puttting it in the middle so that my wife who usually at the passenger seat can reach it easily to answer any call for me if she was there.SNike05 said:I put mine on the left vent cause that one you could close.
