CEL with no code?

Hi guys,

It's been a very long time since I've been here.

I just changed my brakes to EBC 3DG rotors and green stuff pads. 2 days after, I get this weird CEL for no reason.

I check the engine bay, no loose wires, connections are good, boost is steady, A/F is normal, no leaks, and the power curves feels normal. So I drove the car home, and to my surpises, when I hooked up my OBD2 decoder, I have no code...

Does anyone have any idea?

I did a little bit of reading today in the workshop manual.

I thought that in an odd way, it could of been the ABS computer that does like the new rotors and could of sent a weird code that my reader could not interpret. But I quickly ruled that one out.

Then I though, maybe the reader is BS or not able to recognize a Mazda specific code... My reader is an Innova, nothing real fancy, paid 100$ for it.

I will have to have it scanned by a dealer.
