CEL On MS6

My car just reached 1400km and my cel has been going on and off for the last couple days.

Its weird cause usually the light is on when I just start trhe car and for the first couple hours. Then in the afternoon I'll go out somewhere and it wont be on? What gives? Oh and I checked the gas cap.

We can spend all day guessing, but getting it scanned for the DTC will yield you a proper diagnosis.

happened to most of us. PCM or something, purge solenoid. Fasle alarm basically. Get them to check it, update ECU maybe. No biggie.

It was the Purge Solenoid Valve on my MS6 that threw my first CEL, the dealer took care of it in about 15 mins or so since they had a new one in stock.

Yup got it checked, Purge Valve and IMRC Actuator are gone. However they didn't have the parts so I have to wait for them to get them in.

I have the same problem code p2187 it goes in tomorrow for service.
