cd player mazda3 ts

Hello!
I am considering buying a Mazda 3 TS
It may sound like a silly Question to many of you but can you advise if I can
play my own MP3 CD's in this car?

Well I know with the speed 3's they started puting mp3 players in the 2008.5 models. Honestly I would just look at the car, if it does play mp3's it should say right on the face of the head unit.

In the US all '08.5 models play Mp3. Prior to that from '04-'05 there was an optional single disc Mp3 player, and in '06+ there was an optional 6CD/Mp3 player. I'm not sure about other countries though... where are you located?

Hi Guys,

Please could you help me if possible ?

I have recently purchased a 04 Mazda 3s (Ireland) and the car stereo has a CD button option but no actual CD player itself.


I assume that it is possible to purchase the CD player device in order to install it ?

If so, do you know where i can purchase this and if it is dificult to install myself ? Or would i need a professional/mechanic to do it ?

I dunno if the 3's have AUX imputs, but you can buy an mp3 player and completely do away with the hassle of having tons of cds laying around and just max out your mp3 player. The beauty of the speed3 is that its got the AUX imput and my car hasn't seen a cd since I bought it in 2007 lol
