i don't understand how you guys can say that he's young and needs to live it up. if you want to live it up, don't get a girlfriend. don't start cheating on people when you are young cause it's gonna be a habit forming thing. don't get in another relationship until you are ready to commit to that person and only that person for the duration of your relationship. if you don't want to be with them anymore and want to be with her friend, break up with her first. don't be a sleeze ball. it's ******* stupid.

Yes, that's true. Just being young doesn't justify you screwing around while with a girlfriend.

But...
I guess what is meant too is that you are young, and assuming that this relationship isn't as serious as some you'll have when you're older, it's good that you made this mistake now, but learn from it, don't just say "hey, I'm young, I can pull s*** like that".

If you start feeling something for another girl then it means that there's something wrong with the relationship you have. DON'T screw around. If you get to a moment where you know you're about to do something that should be your alarm telling you that there's something wrong, that's when you just stop and push that unit back into your pants and say "I can't do this", walk away, and think if the girl you're going out with is really who you want to be with.

Stupid people are the ones who ignore the lessons from their mistakes. Learn from this mistake.

Cut your loses and forget about it if your young. It'll suck for awhile but you'll get over it. Stay away from both girls. word brotha.............ive been with my soon-to-be wife for almost 7 years and i have guys ask me 'how can you be with the same person for so long, youre young, you should be out having fun.' or 'dont you want to experience what its like to be with other people?' why is it that some people cannot understand that i am happy, this is who i want to be with. i dont want to be with anyone else. this is one of the things that makes our relationship special.

and as far as using excuses go, thats all bs to me, using the excuse of being young is like saying 'oh, im sorry, i was drunk.' you cant justify what you did with excuses. you did what you did because youre not ready for a committed relationship and it is better than it ended sooner rather than later.

Umm....no...unfortunately. Of course at the time I didn't realize how terrible she was so I gained a bunch of weight, went crazy...now I'm losing the weight. Got to cut the 1/4mi time...and my current girlfriend is just the right size for me! Squeezably soft yet not Japanese movie monster sized. 4 years for us today!

As for the whole set-up thing...I wouldn't be surprised if they left together. Women are catty, but if there's one thing most of them hate more than other women, it's good men. They try their damnedest to see us fail, just so they can be sure that all is right with their little world and that all men are a-holes. And we still love `em. Frustrating isn't it? Note: I said most...not all women are like this, but they all have a little hint of it in them that can sneak out...

Well, I did a bit of fooling around when I was younger and now I'm in a relationship where I am completely loyal and so is my girl (together for a year and a half). It can be a habit form thing, but that's something usually reserved for week minded individuals with no self control at all. There are guys and girls for that matter who are like that and those people suck. The times I had cheated it ended up for the better, but I'd never risk a real relationship. What I meant when I said you are young and have fun, is do just that. Date and see as many women as you like, because that's the only way to make sure you know what you're looking for. Experience as much as you can. But at the sametime, you can't do too much cheating because it's the wrong way to go about things.

No, not at all.
I've been cheated on before (High school), so I've been at the other agonizing end. My girlfriend cheated on me with my sister's ex boyfriend (yeah, that's right). He also had cheated on my sister when they were together so he was a known sleaze. What hurt about that too was that he was always really cool with me, like a big brother, and I looked up to him.

So yeah, I don't blame her at all, especially since she witnessed it.

But like someone said, what goes around comes around - She (my ex) ended up "falling in love" with the asshole (in 2-3 months too) and gave up her virginity to him. He went back to college and completely ignored her after he got what he wanted
