Does the MSP have both cats?

not sure what this has to do with FI but yes, the msp has two cats.

Actually, it doesn't. The first cat is removed, and the vehicle is only a LEV instead of a ULEV.

I was under the impression that the primary cat was moved to after the bend in the DP.....

Maybe someone with an MSP can confirm, but when I had my head under the car at the 2003.5 introductin I couldn't spot a precat anywhere. It has definitely been given a higher emissions rating.

Ah, thanks for the picture. I hadn't realised the car used a different midpipe. The reason for the downgraded emissions is probably due to the slower light-up of the precat.
