thanks for the advice. already taken into account ! stopping by my buddies shop who has a bead roller and taking care of it by weeks end.

then off to get powdercoated within a weak or two. we just put high temp paint and clear for now. waiting to get bead rolled before we powdercoated

Awesome job. How long did that take you guy's?

I bought all the parts needed last week. We started at 8am on saturday and ended about 8pm. with breaks and autozone runs in the middle. Whole mockup was done that day.

Sunday, started at 10am, finished welds were done, paint, and run throughs and got done about 6pm.

so about 20-22 hrs spent total.

i took all the stock ducting out cause there was no need for it anymore.

between the pipe and the hood, atleast 2 - 2.5"

there is so much room, if you look through the crack in the grill to see the underneath of the hood, you can't see the piping

one question though, a problem Im gonna run into soon as well...how do you go about getting that piping smog legal? I have a custom set of pipes as well, and I really dont wanna take off my bumper twice to put it to stock and back just for stupid california emissions...is there a process you can go through to have your pipes tested for legality?

trying to make something CARB legal (legal in cali) is a very long and expensive process.

i don't have to worry about emmissions for another 5 years. anything past 2004 you only have to smog 5 years after purchase date.

so the chances of me keeping the car till then are small to none. so i haven't really thought about it. sorry bud.

if you need your car smogged though, i have people that can take care of it.
