Hey all, Carlisle has come and gone and once again it was a good time!! The weather actually held up pretty good this year. I saw some of your cars there, Dragonbabe (I think you were sleeping on the ground when I was gonna say hi, lol) Kooldino, think I saw your car there (the turbo's Yellow MP3) and a few others. Anyway, congrats to those that placed!! My wife was dissappointed that she did not place and I was upset that DG Motorsports did not come through for me. They only shipped half of our order after they told me I would get it all :( Plus, the mirror covers did not fit properly. I think I will have to do what Dragonbabe did and have the mirrors painted (but black) and put the covers on them, that way the painted part still does not show. Ok, enough griping. Man I am glad to be home, hehe.

P.S. My 240SX took first in the 240SX and Z-car wild class, wohoo!

That's cool man, I wish I would have gotten to meet some of you guys. I asked my wife if she talked to any of you and she said, "no, I don't know them, you do" lol. I told her, hell, I only know them from the Protege board! I should have made a better effort to make contact, but the few times I was over there, it did not seem like anybody was by their cars (accept Dragonbabe, who appeared to be sleeping on the ground, lol) I am not sure who took third. We had 5 of the 7 cars that were with us place, two in different Honda classes, one in a VW class, and 2 in two different Nissan classes!! We missed on the Protege and a Prelude that was with us. I hope we can make it to some type of Protege only meet this year.

BTW...The mirrors have the DGMotorsports Carbon fiber covers on them. No Paint...
I placed second and Im not sure but I think the silver P5 with the grafix got first!
Oh well.....pics comming soon!
 
Just people you met on the forum? Tara and derrick and tony were both ppl i just knew on the forum. I met them at some meet, and now i talk to them as if ive known them for years, I would have walked up and introduced myself but i was in the process of being thouroughly BURNT like a RICE CRISPY, I look like a Lobster LOL.

I think the silver p5 with the graphix was his wifes car tara, lol, the dude with the sick sound system took first i believe, and im not sure who got third, i believe thats what derrick told me. and you with the big 2nd. BE PREPARED, msp on the loose ;) i'll be in the scene soon enuf.

Oh trust me, I know about the sleep thing!!! I always get home from these shows and need a vacation!!!!

I was under the assumption that you painted your mirrors yellow and then put the covers on them, but MP3 mirrors must be completely body color (never paid attention) as oppossed to the P5 which has a ring of black around them. We bought the DG mirror covers and the way they fit will leave a ring of silver between the black edging and the cover :wtf: Oh well, I will deal with it later, lol. Yea, my wifes car was the silver P5 with the graphics and she did not place at all. Ya know, her registration was messed up when we got there and we had to get her re-classed, that will bug me because I wonder if they ever got it right. We go for fun anyway, but I would like to have seen her get something.

Ryan, your right, I still should have introduced myself, I dunno, I just would have felt like a stalker waking some girl up that I did not know, LOL. I thought I was gonna be safe from the sun, I put SPF 30 all over my face and ears, but I got torched on the backs of my calves and the top of my head (flame) hehe.

Hey I don't think I saw you there. Seen tara, and derrick and them. I didn't show my car though. Not much to show right now. I just went to see what it was like. I doubt i'll be back anytime soon. It was fun but too far to drive for me to stand in the sun and get burnt all day. Great job on the 240sx.

Actually, I think I did see that or at least I was in the area when some asian looking chick was climbing around inside of some dudes car.He was in the back seat snaping pics while there was a crowd around his car taking pics too. It was pretty entertaining actually.

i went saterday-sunday but didn't show just parked on the fun feild and had a blast(yellow protege5 with black slipstreams):D

Sorry I didn't get to meet any of you there...I was trying to fix all of the s**t that the people before me screwed up. Anyway, hope to meet some of you at other shows. Glad some people had fun.

ask dana, he walked up to me he's like man can you do me a favor take picutres incase my camera doesn't take or battery dies.
