to say the least.. unfortunately, i don't know any more about it.. just have the pics.. i was hoping someone on here would know more :)
 
yes, they just threw a layer of fiberglass and cf over the hatch. Pirana and I checked it out at HIN Houston. you can see the layer clearly from the jams of the hatch.

It was only a matter of time until someone tried that. It would really look a lot better on a Protege Sedan.

yup, we saw it in houston,, its just the stick on kind....
 
hmm i dont see the point of stick on things, like stick on vents for a hood, none the less a stick on cf patch for the trunk. maybe if the whole trunk was made out of it, id give it more respect, but idk about it having no function besides looks. - chris
