long story short, i wired up my prosport mechanical boost gauge and had it hanging with the wires exposed. i then started the car to make sure everything was working the way it should before i put it all back together. i made the mistake of letting one of the exposed wires touch metal that was near the ground and everything instantly shut off. now my car won't start, but the headlights and cabin lights work just fine. the audio is the only other thing that isn't working now. what could it be? my first thought was to check the fuses that i had used during the install but they're fine.

ok turns out it was the 30A ignition fuse under the hood, should have checked all the fuses before posting (rookie mistake). i replaced it with the 30A audio fuse, which leads me to my next 2 questions; what exactly does that fuse do (my radio works fine) and would somewhere like autozone carry a replacement?
