i started driving again and in about 5 min it got hot again.
so pulled over and did the same routine again but this time it wont start.
it tries to start but it just cant.
please help

Need more details. Does it crank but not start? Did you have any service done to it recently? You might have 2 seperate issues going on. Please elaborate so that we can give better advice.

so wait did you let it cool all way down before you add coolant right? if not you will crack the block.

mine was doing this and i just added some barrs stop leak in my radiator and let it idle for 30 mins then drove around for abt 10 mins and it helped mine. u might have a lil pin size hole somewhere so its worth a try its just 2 bucks.

also ppl told me warped head/blown gasket too, but they might be wrong with your car also lol

If you can't start the car, you probably warped the head by not letting the car cool down. There's one for sale on here for 75 + shipping or you can get it rebalanced. I think the typical cost for that job is around 450...or you can do it yourself.

Check the radiator just in case, but no being able to start the car is a good sign of engine damage.
