Cant rid myself of this misfire

My car has a miss in cylinder one which i think is causing the car to stumble under a load. However after installing the ssafc the miss only occurs once right at 3k rpm, once it passes 3k the car seems to run fine. Also when the car is cold it doesnt miss at all. And when i go full throttle the car passes 3k without missing. I'm wondering if there is maybe a valve or sensor that is supposed to opperate primarily at 3k rpm and maybe its not operating properly? Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

Tell me more about your car, what have you don't to try to solve your issue? Have you swapped the coils, plugs, do you have a cracked exhaust manifold or even a gasket leak. Have you tested for an intake manifold leak? What is the vac reading? Might even want to swap the injectors around see if it won't cause the miss in a different cylinder. Of course try it one at a time and remember the different colored injectors are a different spray pattern.

sorry, i've replaced the coils, wires, plugs (and gapped them to spec), bought a new wga, switched injectors to see if the cel would move to cylinder 2, bought new seals for the injectors, vacuum is about 20, compression tested 175,180,180,180 in all four when the car was hot. bought and installed the SSAFC which helped smoothen the miss out, it was a repetative miss now it does it just once at 3k. i havent checked the exhaust mani for cracks but i had the engine apart and the gasket is new. I havent checked the IM for leaks. unless u mean by way of boost leak test cause I did that. and havent seen any substantial leaks

Just spray the manifold with some starting fluid with it idling. Usually leaks from the bottom. Try some injector cleaner too. $10 for a good sized bottle of lucas injector cleaner.

I have tried injector cleaner and have had the two green injectors off the rail the nozzles look fine.

get a wideband on it to determine if your miss is lean or rich. also check your fuel pressure while the problem occurs. finally, check all of your wiring harness grounds. clean the ground for the ecu and try again.

The biggest bit of info you can get is whether the miss is lean or rich.

nah no smell of gas.. im thinkin its the afr but i dont have a wideband nor do i have the money to get one right now...anyone in the central jersey area or anyone can help me tune this split second

Idk if CustomMSP is still around but he was pretty good with those maps. There are quite a few in the Jersey area.

depending where your located you can find some in here
Personally I'm having P0300 CEL myself and I'm looking to find some info for COP's so I can check them if they're within sepc's since plugs or wires are easy check and haven't helped the issue.
