Can't figure this one out!

That helps a lot thanks, seems like a lot of work to replace though.. can it be done with out taking off the manifold ?

There are those that say it can be done and can do it. I've always just taken everything off to do it.

So if I have very long needle nose would it be posible to do it with out taking the manifold off..? What would the.average length of time this project should take , for someone who hasn't done it before that is lol

You do not need to remove the manifold. I highly suggest you do not remove it, since you'll need to remove the oil and coolant lines and then will need to replace all the washers and gaskets or you'll have tiny leaks that will make your engine bay very dirty. Long need nose help, but you can get your hand in there from underneath. I think I got kind of lucky with the pin when I did this six years ago, and I don't remember it taking more than 25-30 minutes.

Where are the oil and coolent line that need to be disconected and what washers and gaskets ? Sorry for all the question , want to make sure I have everything I need at hand when I attempt this project ...

I got it out without taking off the mainifold. The clip was a b**** to get on and off. Kept falling off when trying to put it back on. It tried to get lost but I kept finding it and I finally got it back on. Took me 3 hours. I would imagine if I did it again I could do it faster now that I know how to do it.

Yeah that's how it goes. I got that one quickly, but I've spent a whole day on the rear motor mount with multiple trips to the hardware store, so don't feel bad. 3 hours is nothing in the long run.

How's the car running now?

Do getting that little clip back on is a large pain and could take awhile ... ? Over all the rest shouldn't be to bad ?

0_0 I did all 4 of my mounts in 2 hours

Got my WGA in yesterday, going to work on it this weekend, hoping that's going to make the P0171 go away ...

Changed all my spark plugs and put in the new WGA , too longer than expected but wasn't to bed, was driving great all day. Then after 40 miles of driving it the CEL came back on when I pulled in the drive way ... Now what ? Going to scan it tomorrow and see what the code is... What would be the next step, I need to resolve this ASAP ! Please help !

Scanned the CEL today , the P0171 is gone ! It was an exhaust leak code that showed up, wich I'm hoping was just there from before fixing it and just didn't clear it out since we had the battery diaconected when we did it , so we will see...

I recommend getting something like this.

https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)

Then you can get the Torque app for your smartphone to see everything our PCM is capable of displaying over OBDII. If you don't have a smartphone, there is a bunch of software out there to run on a windows machine.

You can buy the handheld datalogging scanners like Cenntech, but they are a lot more expensive and not nearly as useful as a bluetooth device.
I'm Thinking about ordering one if these , what would be the best app on my Droid to use for it ?

Wow this turned into a helpdesk conversation. Search is your friend.

The app you want is Torque. You can get enough info with the free version but I bought the full version for 1.99 I think. I leave it plugged in all the time, if i want to check something out or do 0-60 runs or something I just put my phone in its mount on the dash or window so i dont have to look down. Mine has a pretty good range too, it has worked up to around 15 feet away. Not sure how far its supposed to work though

What would be the best one to get ? The one in the link above ? Or is there one with more options etc... ?
