Can't break tires loose

What a disappointment. After 2K miles on my new TA KDW2 on KAZ KZ-V wheels I started freaky cornering again. Two days ago before I blew my intake manifold a Mercedes Compressor flew passed and cut me off going onto a 180 degree downhill freeway on ramp. Being a little pissed I stomped on the gas and WOT after this dude.(dark) I was going about 15mph faster than he was around the turn and almost came up on his rear bumper before we got on the straight to the freeway. That's when he pulled away from me.(bang)

I was really impressed with the grip on these tires but I was really disappointed by my P5's lack of power to break the tires loose even at WOT. I did have about 250 lbs of crap in the back but I was going slightly downhill. The tires didn't even squeal! I guess just a CAI and catback is not enough.

You are in a front wheel drive car. If anything, while WOT in the corner you will push. Unless you have your car set up to oversteer in steady state cornering you won't get oversteer while flooring it in the middle of a corner.

Next time just lift off the throttle in middle of the turn and let us know how that works for ya.

WARNING: There is a good chance you will swap ends doing this!!! Don't come crying to me if you wreck your car doing this!

Go do an autocross and learn how to get the back to break loose.
