I have a 2015 GT and cannot read or play my text messages. They download and show on the display but I cannot do anything with them. They used to work fine. Anybody have an idea on what is wrong?

It says my phone, LG G2, is compatible for all things except email. The text messaging worked fine for the first few months and then stopped using the same phone the whole time.

Mine does that too. But, my exact model number comes up as not supported, so, I guess I'm lucky it works at all.

But, to get it to work again, unpair/delete pairing from both your phone and the Infortainment Center, turn both off(power off both), count to approx 30 mississippi's, turn them both back on, re-pair them, and it will work for another 2 days to 2 months, usually around 2 weeks.

For some reason the text messages started again. It is now working fine but I did not do anything so I do not know why.

Did you get an update on the LG G2? A lot of times we point the finger to the infotainment unit and trust me bluetooth is bluetooth. But the phone must trust the infotainment unit (both iOS and Android have settings for this) to be able to exchange information. Sometimes the pairing code gets messed up during an OS update on the phone. I am saying bluetooth is bluetooth because all devices are backwards compatible, they have to. If your devices runs anything higher than iOS 7.x.x or Android ice cream sandwich (ICS = version 4.0) your bluetooth stack on the OS will support the functions of interchanging between the infotainment unit and the operating system. Often settings in the OS, especially if you are running a non-standard device with a modified kernel or OS (jailbroken or rooted) your operating system might not load the modules properly. I know this sounds very techy but be assured that in 90% of all cases I have seen the past year the OS was one of the problems, not the infotainment unit. I test on average 6 - 8 phones a year for the company I work for and after the bluetooth module has been updated to version 7.00.00 I can honestly say that the improvements were radical and work fine.
