I bought a set of 4 BFG sports from them about a year ago now and the duty fee was very minimal; $17 if I remember correctly. But even at 10x that charge the purchase still would have been well worth it in my case. I paid something like $90 USD per tire from tirerack.com, when all the dealers in town were asking for $250 CAD + per tire, great deal. The charges you really need to worry about are brokerage fees if you had the tires shipped UPS or FedEx. I go with good old USPS whenever I can to avoid the mysterious and enormous fees both UPS and the Fed sometimes charge, that they seem to just pull out of their asses (Ive even imported items that were hit with a 100%! brokerage fee when using UPS, bunch of ass clowns if you ask me).

In Canada you guys should try www.tiretrends.com and www.talontire.com they both offer good prices compared to your local tire dealer.

yeah I almost ordered from tiretrends after hearing good things about them. But the f1 was 229.99 CDN there. My local dealer gave me a price of 289 and said that was their dealer cost....LOL. Tried to tell me they were 450.00 a tire....rofl.

My tires are coming via ups. I never had a choice I like USPS a lot better. That being said the last time I ordered something via USPS I did get hit with fee's. First time ever.

Brokerage fees can be a pain in the ass. I try not to purchase much from the US simply because of brokerage and duty taxes.

me too, but at 97 bucks a tire (and that's Canadian) for Goodyear f1's...... I had to try.
