Don't know for the rest of Canada but in Quebec we have bacon and ham. No "canadian", "pemeal" or whatever.

As for Diesel it's available at most gas station ( like 2-3 out of 4, depending on area) and it was 0.71X $/liter last week, so about 2.07$/gal. Remember that nearly 50% of the price here is tax...
As for Chesterfields, I've never heard anyone below 70 y.o. use that word...
