Its improving the community because they are a registered member and thus a part of the community. Just like a convicted felon moving into a neigborhood makes them a part of the community. If you put people into sort of a house arrest it won't matter. They will still get their message out or maybe even sneak out once in a while(look at Mathra).

You think it would be hard to find 4-5 people to be to mod? You already got two in one day(Me and Lisa). Finding the rest would not be hard. If you look inside "The longest thread" or "Reputation Point" thread, you will find people who are constantly on and that is able to post in a dignified mannor.

In addition, I would be glad to give my time to develope the PHP code needed make sure that the feature is avaliable.

Now if the admins still feel the way they do, I respect their decisions. But at least i'm giving you the help/feedback this sections is intended to host.

i agree with dana, they arent gonna change.

and frankly, kpabap and matty being in purgatory i think has drastically changed the forum in a good way. there are a lot less flame wars, bad comments etc.

i voted no. as much as i get down peoples throats ive never been put there so that tells you what yo uhave to do to get there.

matty may make a good product but so do a lot of companies that are run by assholes and i would never buy anything from them. take comcast for example. they ******* suck (at least here) and their customer service is garbage. just because they offer high speed internet doesnt mean they kick ass for everything else.

Well said. I too believe Matty is definitely the coolest black dude that I have yet to meet in person. Please allow his presence to return. If there was ever an argument with Matty involved, feel free to ban him for life. He's a FI genus and I feel that he has useful knowledge that would contribute to the growth of the forums. One last chance is all that I ask.

everyone claims he is wonderful and all that and a genius, im just wondering why if hes so great his product which was supposed to be out eleventy billion times isnt, and is only going to make a one time run if that, while other vendors have made revisions and completely new turbo kits and upgrades in half the time.

yea, what hes doing has only been done in limited quantities before, but how long has this been going on? recently i saw the thread where now only one run will be made...if that even gets enough people to do so.

matty is just one person not a company, he works just like any normal person, has a wife and other responsabilites to take care. if he had other people working for him helping im sure he could put it out faster and make changes but he cant.

there are other members on the forum that are making products by hand, and that are taking along time to get them made. Not to pick on anyone like leadfoot hes making the gauge pods thing, wich i am in line for and have been since the begging. you got dexter with the hood prop kit wich i also have, it took them awhile to get the right parts and everything made how they wanted it. I have no problem waiting for a product to be finished.

if you knew matty personaly like most of us GA people do then you would realaize that he has alot to offer the comunity but there are people on there that just want to ban him and thats just not cool, I dont agree with everything he says or does but if i did it still wouldnt change the fact that he can help our comunity in so many ways.

im sure there are some people on here that think you just should leave the mazda forums and stick the wrx fourms, but im not one to judge you because i dont know you or realy read what you post. and im not attacking you in any way, im just voicing my opion now thats if were still aloud to do that on this forum.

Also, the fact that companies sent the wrong product(not to spec) that he asked to be manufactured delayed him a bit.
On top of that, Poweredyne quit production on the BD600 supercharger, he needed to fork up $10,000 just to make them put the bd600 back into production. Thus the group buy had to go into play.
As stated above, Matty is a person not a company. He's pulling the majority of the money to manufacture the kit out of his pocket.

Soon enough there will be plenty of WOMP threads from satisfied owners, then WOMP will be in full swing.

Yes, but its also run by a guy who is active duty navy and is actually stationed one state away from the business, and who has also had delays from outside parties affect his products, and still can whip out more products by hand easily. And the supercharger uses regular header right? he doesnt have to design or fab those right?

hes not the only one with another job or life etc. for being such a FI "god" im (and many others) arent too impressed.

this debate happens every single time someone sticks around . i cant imagine how many threads or posts ive seen when EvilSRT was still a mod and people were constantly asking him why he was even still on this forum etc.

the fact is, i stay around because in two years i did a s*** load of stuff to my car and tested a ton of parts FI and otherwise, and have plenty to still contribute when im bored and surf over here.

as a recent example, my pictures of my BEGI install that i directed Shane to gave him accurate instructions on how to install the unit.

Yet its been over a year since i had a BEGI installed in my car.
