Can anyone help me? 2016 CX-5

My car (mazda cx5 2016 2.5L) full with oil. No codes pulled. No lights on dash. Yet this is happening..?

What's the mileage on the vehicle? What kind of oil are you using?

I'm assuming you're talking about that knocking noise, which could be anything, also assuming you think it never did that before?

Do you notice it change when you rev the engine? Does it do it when cold, change when hot? I know you're thinking probably a bearing, but noises travel through an engine. Really hard to tell without using a stethoscope to try to pinpoint the origin. Bad serpentine belts have been known to produce knocking noises.
Anyone else chime in here?

Did you do the recording with the plastic engine cover removed? What's it sound like with everything in place and the hood closed?

How old is your oil? I heard the clunking noise and timing chain noise from your video. If the clunking noise is from the top, it seems like the valve noise due to the bad hydraulic lift adjusters. It it’s from bottom, it could be crankshaft or piston connecting rod bearing noise like @madar mentioned.

I’d try 5W-30 full synthetic SP oil first and see if the noise is reduced. 5W-30 oil is Mazda recommended oil worldwide for your 2.5L NA. Use it with confidence.

I hear this occasionally on my 2015 Mazda 6, same engine. I have more than 300k km on the car. I've never had any issues with the engine whatsoever. Don't worry about it.

For me it was actually the loose plastic engine cover tapping. Make sure it's not that.

...and what kind of oil filter was used? I've had a few bad filters from the start (not Mazda) that caused all kind of knock noises due to who knows what, possibly bad internal element. Anyway, it's a cheap start.

Yep, I've had this issue before as well.

Since it wasn't making the noise before I can understand why you are concerned. From the video it's hard to say where the noise comes from, which might be more obvious to someone that can experience it there in person.
How noticable is the noise while you are driving?
