I did a search and found nothing that would give me an answer...

I was thinking of getting the FS-ZE intake camshaft and Mazdaspeed exhaust camshaft from corksport.com

So far I have heard that camshafts cause a rough idle, and bad fuel economy. How much, how bad?

Also, is anythign else required when changing out camshafts? Like cam gears or what not to adjust them?

Will there actualy be horsepower gains when getting the FS-ZE intake camshaft? if so, would I get gains from getting the FS-ZE pistons?

Also one big thing, is it bad to mix in match, I mean, I can get the FS-ZE intake camshaft, but only the MAZDASPEED exhaust camshaft... will they work okay together, or is there a MAZDASPEED intake camshaft somewhere else?

Just to halfway answer my own question I am going to throw out some information I found, I still as of yet have much of an idea of what it means, but I'm working on it...

Question is... are there aftermarket cams for the 2.0 2002 engine

If you are talking about aftermarket cams, then no, none are available.
Don't give your hopes up however. If you own a 2001+ car with a 2.0 liter
engine, you can get a factory intake cam from the JDM FS-ZE engine (which
has a lift of .344/.323 and the duration @.050 210/200). A Mazdaspeed
exhaust cam was also recently made available for that engine.
You may want to upgrade to the stiffer valve springs from the FS-ZE while
you are at it. These cams are available from Mazda Motorsports as well as
Cork Sport. Mazda Motorsports have the FS-ZE valve springs available also.
Cork Sport sells the exhaust cam in preground form, but Mazda Motorsports'
one will require grinding at a machine shop. Note that the stock intake cam has
lift of .344/.323 and a duration of 198/200 @.050.
