how will you know how much to advance or retard it? what if you lose power? imo leave it at the same and get adjustable cam gears

Ok I see your point but my thinking was to augment overlap to increase scavenging at high rpm. But if you think I'm better of leaving it at stock advance I'll leave it at that.

Anyone else have a tought on this?

for each mod you do, a different overlap would be required to get max power. who knows, 2-3 degrees to far might be to much and you lose power??? obviously it wont be much, but imo leave it as stock for the time being, then get adjustable gears later
