Calling everyone in NJ

So i live in Nothern NJ and i want an exhaust for my MSP. I was thinking about buying a turbo back but its a little too much money. Then i was thinking about get a 3 in DP and 3 inch Cat back but that is still a lot of money.. So now i think it might be cheaper for custom....

If anyone knows of any good shops that will make a custom 3 inch exhaust that would help a lot. Or if anyone knows of any good turbo shops...

Both these shops are really in central NJ, but I am not familiar with many in north Jersey.

Mufflex did my exhaust, they did a good job, they work on a lot of performance exhaust setups from what I understand. They do some pretty decent welding too.

I brought a muffler and tip to them and told them what to do with what material and they gave me a nice 304 stainless exhaust with a high-flow cat and a resonator like I requested. They were also nice enough to touch up some welds on my downpipe for me.


Turbotrix is good, they're mostly DSM though.

I'm not sure if they've done much work on Mazda Proteges. I only bring my car there for help with AEM tuning and dyno time (they have an AWD dyno).

Call up Mufflex, they should be able to help you out.

dont go to turbo trix, they will treat you bad, they only care about people with dsm's...i have had a bad experience with them.

Just was at Mufflex yesterday to have them "adjust" my iON exhaust, EXCELLENT SHOP and didn't charge me too much I think.

THey have a customer for life.

Definetly Mufflex shop. They are strictly exhaust shop only. They do GREAT jobs! Was there this past weekend, and got quoted for custom 2.5'' turbo-back exhaust at 650-700 bucks. Pretty good price

Good choice.

They know what they are doing and can handle any job, including the S-Pipe.

I watched them do all the work on my exhaust and I was very impressed with their work.

They also bumped me into a slot on Tuesday to take care of me. I can't say enough good things about them, and now my car has no exhaust rattles! Woot!

I really don't like Mufflex. They try to rip you off any chance they get. Bunch of assholes with an attitude working there too. I live right by them.

Not that I have 40k to spend on one hehe but I have seen many companies that sell ones for up to 3" pipe for well under 40k.

And either they have prebent mandrel bent pipe or they bought one because I saw mandrel bends on a custom exhaust they made for a Mustang while I was there.
