I know the feeling I have to run 91 or better too. I figured about $1.75 per gallon but now I'm having to refigure my gas at well over $2 p/g for high octane.

gas in cali is around 2.15 for regular. :\

so thats what, around 2.35 or so for premium.

it will be worth it so see juan's 264 whp protege on the track.

Going. People are checking around in California for hotel prices for us. Lets not be rude and have an actual count for them. Then I could also let my parents know how many people will be showing up at their doorstep in the morning.

so we somehow managed to drop from a bootload of people down to... 5? Now I'm disappointed. I'd still like to go, but I need to double up on a room in order to cut some costs.

And 505 won't need a place to stay, he's going to stay with family there. I don't know if discreet is going to need hotel space. He might be staying with 505.

Backing out of Protegefest

Bad news! I just found out this weekend my brother is moving from Denver to Nebraska (Omaha) because of his job. April 10th is the last weekend I will have to get time off for a while and due to the circumstances, I am going to be traveling to Denver instead of California for Protegefest. It will be my last opportunity to see my newborn nephew before they move an impossible distance away from here.

Very sad news for me, but I think family is more important than a car show at this point, as there will be other car shows and soon the protege family will the only family within driving range for me.

LIke I said, my nephew was born on Christmas day this last year and I haven't gotten a chance to see him yet, I'm going to Denver instead to see him this next month before they move.
