Well I am very aware that I don't live in Arizona and I would be getting up earlier than all yous unless I can drive to mom and dad's and meet up in Phoenix the next morning. Or I might just go to Tucson and stay in a hotel for the night if nothing else.

BUT... I know I don't know anyone yet, and I would like to go?

hey rt66protege, let me know if you need a place to crash that night. i have an extra futon in the office if you need. i hope you're not allergic to dogs and cats... cause we have 2 dogs and 2 cats. April 9th I'm going to drive to my parents house in Yuma and crash there. I'll talk to my parents about having everybody meet at their house on the 10th. They only live a few blocks from the I-8 in the foothills. This way people can use the bathroom (Truc).

I just cleared it out. I found out our big gig at the bike rally isn't til July time frame, so I'm cleared to go to protegefest. I hope to meet a few of you all before the big trip. And I hope to bring at least one other person with me.

there is a casino/hotel next to the drag strip. I will call them regarding discounts soon. Also we might be having a breakfast in the hotel the next morning.
