Cai

I had an ebay generic short ram intake with a K&N filter and switched to a INJEN cold air intake and had absolutely no difference in horsepower on a dyno.

They make the same WHP. So its personal choice for which one looks better with your engine bay color scheme.

You can get a Simota from me ... less$$ and they fit perfectly.
Also, I'll ship to Australia. If you are around Melbourne you're looking at
@ US $65.00

i have a injen i love it. CAI isnt the kind of thing you will see big hp gains from. but it sounds sweet and i get killer gas mileage at highway speeds. i went about 287 miles on 7 gallons no joke. i couldnt believe it i talked to my wife about it for like a week before she started getting irriatated because i wouldnt shut up. i dont know if this is typical but it worked for me on that trip. oh yea average speed was about 80mph

here is a pic of it installed

That looks really good man! Yea they dont give you really any noticeable hp gain. Thats crazy that it gave you that good of gas mileage now.

Couldn't that change with the hood down?

not really because when your driving you have presurized air comming in at 40mph but on the dyno the hood makes up for no air moving air

so no difference with the injen n the K&N?
cos it says the Injen is for a 2L engine....?
but id prefer the K&N?
cheers
