Cabin Noise

Hola,
So I'm still working on this idea of change out my seats and thought 'while I was at it' I would see about installing some sound damper/deadener under carpet 'solution'...

I'm on BT headset a lot and travel A LOT and sometimes the road noise is just unbearable even with the top up etc...

So, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for reducing engine/road noise...what has worked, should avoid etc..

You guys are great, thanks

I've logged over 150k miles between my 2 Miadas in 6 years. i've never had a problem with the noise, so i wouldn't know. But there's really not a lot to do except add more insulation under the carpet... With the thin top, and minimal seals around the doors, I think it's a lost cause.

I have heard good things about B-Quiet (www.b-quiet.com)...so when I do my seat conversion (crosses fingers) I'm also going to see about applying this stuff under the carpet...they have some 'under hood' heat protection, that I think I can also apply inside on the center console to reflect the heat away from my leg...seems to get really warm sometimes and makes my leg sweat...

I'll let you know how it goes ~P

I hear a bunch of buzzing from right above my fuel tank..I just need to replace some missing screws that the PO removed. It's sheet metal vibrating...and it is annoying.
Road noise isn't too bad for me otherwise...I crank the music up. I replaced all the speakers & added a MSP sub/amp rack in the trunk for bump.
Noise deleted.
