CA carb legal CAI/SRI??

I read a fair bit about the car before buying and mscai looked pretty good. A cold air has the advantage over sri units. It's in the name, cold air.

there is no real advantage with an intercooled system, the intercooler does all the cooling. The temp difference between sri and cai is within 5 degrees when moving

its not all in the intercooler, however... im not convinced that the temp difference in the air at the fender and where the airbox was is all that great. and, in the summer, here in NC, its a hot humid air intake anyways...

either way, running an open air filter will help out... just pick one and dont look back. make sure you get one that fits your scope of the vehicle... if you want the AP, id go with the cobb SRI... although, im not even convinced that will matter much...

If you get pulled over just do what I do, flash your badge LOL. Happy motoring.

Sorry to threadjack, but hopefully you are joking.
We don't all have the ability to flash a badge and get a pass to break the law.

As far as the CARB thing...move out of CA. (lol2)
