the problem with the auction idea is some other street racers will hear about this and go down, buy the cars, and then street race them...yeah the state makes money, but it doesnt necessarily deter the crime.

yeah, john's solution makes the busted racer basically buy his car back again... how many of those civics are worth more than 10 g's? Probably not many if any.

I'd say make the fine blue book value of the car plus 20% for the state.

i think we would all feel the same way about seeing our cars crushed like that, my car means alot to me, it's what keeps me happy and away from drugs and other s***, not that i would do it anyway but i'm just saying, my mom told me to stop spending so much money on my car and i told her that it's either that or drugs lol, she laughed pretty hard
