Buying Used Fuel Injectors

I know that a lot of you guys buy injectors used, mainly because its a lot cheaper.
Just to make a suggestion, always have your injectors serviced before putting them in your car.
Orings can rip or tear on installation or removal which can cause bad sealing or fuel leaks.
Pintle caps (small plastic cap on some injectors that creates a seat for the lower oring to seal, or produces a particular spray pattern) can get brittle and break.
Top Feed fuel injectors have small filters at the fuel entrance. These filter can disolve, rip, tear or just be really dirty causing problems with the performance of the injector
Coil Testing is also important. Coils can go bad just sitting on a shelf, and then the injector is not fixable. Making sure the injector is creating the right voltage and ohms is very important.

Make sure wherever you have your injectors serviced (Preferably Deatschwerks but thats not why im posting) can account for all of the above items. Ive been doing the servicing here at Deatschwerks for 2 years and I cant express enough the importance of keeping your fuel system clean, especially for Turbo cars.

Any questions feel free to email me.

the above link is to the Mazdas247 forum discount for services.
we have recently raised our prices for servicing
Basic is $19.00/per injector
Dynamic is $29.00/per injector
Dynamic Plus is $39.00/per injector

Deatschwerks specializes in drop in fitment injectors for a wide variety of applications, from GM LSX cars, Subaru, Mazda, Nissan, Scion, Ford, Mopar, etc. We also do injector servicing for any application.

The Forum Special service is a version of the dynamic service. It is the same price as the Basic service, with free shipping.

Sounds good. I should add this to my "to do list" next time I do a tune up. At what mileage would you recommend fuel injector service? And also what is your avg. turnaround time?

turnaround time is 1 to 2 days after recieving, services are one of my top priorities so i like to get them in and out as quickly as i can in case the customers car is down during the service.
As far as mileage goes, i would say a service every 40 to 50k miles would be good preventive maintanence. If you ever get bad gas, or make a lot of short trips, i would suggest doing it sooner.
If you are purchasing a vehicle that has 75k-100k miles on it, i would do a service first thing.
Always better to be safe than sorry especially with turbo applications.

Whats your take on modifying INJ to higher CC's
I have STi INJ = 550cc , how much more cc can they be bumped to and do you see any problem with it instead of buying some 800cc's INJ. ??

my goals with MSP is 400whp and i used DW fuel calculation and using INJ up to 70% duty cycle i'll be good with 800cc's

you guys work with BMW INJ as well ?
