Hello all,

I have been lurking for quite some time. I am considering buying an MP3. I have read quite a bit about what most of you think of them.

I just want to get your most recent opinions on the MP3.

Any problems with them as they start to turn 50k miles plus?

Anything you guys can think of would be helpful.

Thanks all

I just crossed over the 58k miles mark. No problems what so ever, other than squeaky bushings.

Great car, good buy if its been taken care of, but thats with any car.

Good luck and welcome to the board officially.

Thanks, always glad to read what people think of their MP3. I don't think there is a much better looking car for the price. Slow, but I understand handling is amazing.

What do you guys think the average price for an MP3 is, with 50k plus miles?

I'd say around 9k - 11k depending on its condition. Mine personally is priceless. It isn't slow once its up to speed, but an intake and header will make it feel amazing fast with great throttle response.

I just replaced the brakes on my car at 50k miles. I have been running this car boosted for about 13k miles now and still no ill effects. The car is definately nice when taken care of properly.
