Buying a used Mazda CX-5...What to look out for?

I am helping my sister buy her dream car of a Mazda CX-5. Before going to the dealership and begin the pain in the rear part, I was wondering what I should be looking out for on a used CX-5 outside of the normal wear and tear items. I'm looking at a 2017 Grand touring I believe. AWD. Are there any areas that they messed up on in production or an area that is prone to breaking?Thanks for the help!

Tom let us know your experience. What prices are you seeing for 16 vs 17 since new look came out in 17 and in my experience is hot in demand. I might be in your shoes few years down the line.
Otherwise 17 has same drivetrain perfected since 2014. Its a luxurious car compared to old generation.

Nothing really. If it's a solid car its probably as solid as any.

See if you cam find a CPO (certified). They have an extended warranty.
