BUYERS BEWARE DivizionOne Autowerkes

DivizionOne Autowerkes

Just thought I'd get on this forum and post a reply to this ludicrous thread defaming DivizionOne Autowerkes' name. Our webmaster, Chris Powell, asked about the black housing headlights for his 2002 Mazda Protege. The JPEG image he used to describe these were the ones listed on the eBay auction which he is respsonsible for. I was unaware that the image was taken from another company's website. The headlights do in fact exist and are manufactured by a company called Alfa Otto. These lights have been purchased and installed on Chris's Mazda Protege. We will take new photos and relist the eBay item with these new photos. We will also be carrying several other parts for Proteges. Most of the companies you guys criticize wouldn't take the time to join this forum and respond to some of the harsh things said. Feel free to email me with any more questions, concerns, or criticisms.

Lets start an ebay task force... we need a cool name though

i call not it. it makes me all frustrated that there are people out their with the soul intention of misleading people or outright ripping them off. this one caught my eye cause of the "black euro clear headlights."

noone ever said the lights dont exist, they obviously do. our complaint was....

#1. he picture was stolen from another companies website and was claimed to belong to divizionone.
#2. that price for stock headlights with the gray housing painted black is insane.

(getout)

It's apparent you know nothing, there are plenty of vendors on this forum already that are selling products to us at good prices with awsome quality. Why don't you take your s*** intakes and "JDM headlights" and get the **** out of our board.

you sound like my dad lol, he's a US Postal Inspector, he ivestigates mail fraud (9 times out of 10 spawning from ebay auctions) all day long, gives you a very grim outlook on things.

We do not sell CHEAP intakes. All our intake systems have a LIFETIME WARRANTY if you took some time to read through our auction descriptions. A lot of the intake systems we design are custom made such as the cold air intake extension kit we applied to Chris's car. We've upgraded that as well to be combined with the pre-fabricated intake kit you've seen advertised which bolts on from the throttlebody to the MAF sensor.

Do you have dyno #'s??? or graphs??, what materials are they made out of ??, are they legal??? I rather pay more and get a good quality product that is why I have an Injen CAI.

There are others selling e-bay intakes for less than you and prob have the same if not better gains.

how much dyno time and R&D time has been put into these intakes?

I came on this board only for defense, not to be hostile. We'll get our Protege on the dyno and get you the horsepower and torque numbers. Injen makes great intake systems but you're mostly paying for their established name. If you knew how much it cost to actually manufacture these intake systems you'd know that ALL aftermarket performance parts are HEAVILY over priced. Our goal is to offer the same quality at a reasonable price. We have no choice. We haven't been in the business as long as Injen but 97% of our customers have been impressed with the quality of our products.

Yes, Alfa Otto does supply us with those headlights. Again Chris is responsible for the HTML in our auctions and website work and our original intention was to use photos of the product installed on HIS vehicle.

im not being hostile im asking simple questions relative to your products and so far you are providing me with round-about answers.

So according to what you say so far you have put 0 time on the dyno and probably not a whole lot more than that into designing the intake. E-mail Injen or AEM and ask them how long they spent in R&D on there intake systems for the protege alone. Then take into consideration the fact that they both manufacture there own quality filters as opposed to yours that i can buy at auto zone for $12 and the piping for another $15. Also on yours i do not see a bung for the IAT sensor, how do you rectify that problem?

I apologize again for any misunderstandings or misrepresentations made through our auction for those black housing headlights. Revisions will be made to our listing for that particular part. As far as our intake systems are concerned (dyno numbers, materials used, etc...), please contact me by email. I have to get back to work.

I wasnt aware that explaining the purpose behind and promoting your products was not considered work, i'll let you get back to scamming money out of the less mechanically inclined genre of the tuner market.

What explanation would you like TXMazdaSpeeder? Read our auction descriptions on our emails for all the technical information pertaining to our intake systems. On Chris's car we bypassed the IAT sensor by implementing a 8100 ohm 1/2 watt resistor to give a constant low temperature reading to the ECU. On the kits we sell on eBay we integrate a fitting into the rubber coupling to accomodate the IAT sensor. Some of our intake applications use chrome plated aluminum tubing, others used poslished T-304 stainless steel, and others we use polished aluminum tubing depending upon demand. I have received nothing but negativity and criticism before I even made a post on this board. No one here at DivizionOne Autowerkes is scamming anyone.
