And to MinnowGT, how is it an immature ideology? Our country was settled by people who disagreed with their government and left. I disagree with the government so much it makes me want to leave. As stated before, I'm a bit of a marxist but I have no illusions of having some communist state happen anytime soon. I did, however hope that Kerry would win so we could actually be somewhere to the middle/slight left of the political spectrum whereas Bush is wayyyyyyy too right for me.

And to think Kerry wouldn't throw this country into a bigger debt is also ignorant given the huge government take-care-of-everyone programs he would have tried...

No they aren't...

Kerry and Bush are both for open borders, free trade, etc, etc...

The big issues, abortion, national health care are the two differences. Kerry against job outsourcing when his wife just recently opened six new factories in Mexico...Right, he's against out sourcing, except I guess when it is his wife.

They are bascially the same when it comes down to foriegn policy. Bush wanted the worlds approval, he got a number of countries to back us with money and troops for Iraq. France, Germany and Russia were against, why? because they were eyeball deep in illegal food for oil deals with Saddam.

Kerry said he would have gone to war with the same info the Pres had...Oh and gee, he even voted to go...How is there a difference there? There isn't!

They both come form the same school of thought, Yale. They both belong to similar clubs, Skull and Bones to name one. Two people who belong to same groups have minor differences, not major ones. Otherwise, they wouldn't be in the same groups...

We have, the problem is we also payed attention to what Kerry did. Although he talked alot about the goals he had, he never offered anything up to how he was going to do it. I know people that were just looking for a good excuse to vote for Kerry, but the only reason they could find was that he wasn't Bush. That simply won;t win an election. If Kerry could have outlined a real plan for a Iraq, regardless of every other issue, I would have voted for him. Thats all I needed to hear, even if I didn't agree with it. He said he wanted to pull troops out of Iraq, but so the hell what, eveyone wants that but politicly its not possible atleast immediatly. A person with as much power as the President of the US is extrodinarily dangerous if he only had a goal and no plan. That why we are in this mess in the first place.

We are just hoping Bush learned form his mistake.
