Burn oil problem

My 2003 mazdaspeed protege has 110k on it. runs great. It burns oil. every 300 miles oil stick doesnt rich to oil or its Low.
There is no blue or white smoke. There is no leak oil. On exhaust exit it fully black. Sometimes i see black smoke but not too much. It might give black smoke when i boost idk. Also i smell burn oil sometimes when i stop the engine. A mechanic said it burns from turbo seals. anyone can help me ?

If its Turbo, which way i should follow. Rebuild the turbo or buy a aftermarket turbo?

My seals were bad in my turbo and the price for a stock rebuilt was about 900. I got the gt28rs for 1200 brand new. It was a pain to get the wastegate actuator to fit properly but in the end I am happy with it.

A rebuild on your own turbo is usually around 500ish

we were driving the car 2 years ago and smelled smoke, so we pull over the car, and from bottom oil was leaking. they said its from turbo. So we did rebuild it two years ago. but at the same time clutch and struts was bad too, so we never used the car. finally i just replaced the struts and clutch last week and thought car is fine now, but no, car burns oil.
So do you guys think they didnt do good job on turbo rebuild, and it burns oil from turbo or it might be from engine, also compression test gave around 170 for all cylinders.
