Plus in a frontal collision the crumple zones would behave in totally unexpected ways not envisaged by the manufacturer. Imagine the scenario when 2 bull bar equipped vehicles collide head on. Less give in the vehicle structure to limit the deceleration forces. Dying for vanity? And what about a bull bar equipped vehicle colliding into another vehicle side on. The occupants of the other vehicle would not stand a chance. Perhaps you don't care? You're not in a Mad Max film...

I assumed you lived somewhere snowy so I had to Google your Latitude Longitude: word to the wise... you probably don't want to put the exact Lat and Long of your exact home address. Or maybe just change that to FRESNO.

Agree the one in the first post is hideous. These last 2 aren't bad though.

I bought my CX-5 from CJ Wilson and remember seeing this sometime when I was there.

Used to have a Pathfinder w/ smitty built front rear and sides. Gas got about 13 mpg Cx5 with bull bar and lights still gets about 32 mpg. So the Mazda I can fill it and go three weeks, LOL. Including the interior I have only maybe 400 into it. Now everything is red for trim I did blue for 16 years with the Nissan so went red. Like I said I am not done but need to wait for warranty to expire before going ape crape on it. Life is a MAD MAX film or haven't you heard? When the car was 8 days old someone backed into it when it was parked smashing the front end, costing about 1400 dollars in damage. Soooo maybe I am a little gun shy. YES this is just cosmetic in a 50 mph car crash but 5 mph in the parking lot , well I am sure you know who will win. I love it knew there would be a few h8ters in fact my only JDM sticker is ," I love H8ters". It could have been a CRV or a RAV4 and it would have still gotten the TREATMENT. Yes Dark Angel was a TV show. Used and still fly RC jets is my handle on the website have nothing to hide so just keep the same screen name , LOL. It probably is rolling PC now with all the JDM stuff. My wife asked what people had said and I laughed and told her some of the remarks. Fugly, thew up in mouth, hideous, etc. Well I guess the Mazda CX5 is too high eye brow for me, was told it was a luxury SUV. Oh and if I bought the new Alfa Romero Stelvio I would put a bull bar on it. I would feel bad if I hurt someone with it , but I not backing down or taking it off. Just look away when it drives by probably better that way. (headbang) Could have been worse, could have done it to a Mazda 3. One reason I posted , is that nobody seems to have a bumper guard
the only pic was the Zombie edition cx that I could find. There have been a couple of other threads on the bull bar but stayed out.
