Mazda "Blue" Mp3
i plan on putting a turbo on my Mp3 this summer. I was wondering what other things i could get in the meantime to build up to the turbo, ex. Cams, pulleys, clutch etc.. I want to get the most power possible out of my turbo. Thanks alot fot the info. (what are the little things that i could get right now that would help me with the turbo)

My biggest recomendation is to swap out the ECU with one from a P5 or normal Protege. It's probably the safest thing you can do. You could probably sell yours plus a trade for $100. They cost over $1000 at a dealer.

you'll need a new exhaust(2.25-2.5"), a new clutch would be nice. depending on how much you have spare to spend, an lsd (i think the msp ones can be had for ~$500 if you can find one). be sure you plan to have extra left over though, because chances are you won't.

i would imagine you could do it for free, if you find someone that's trying to be a bit faster than stock n/a. it's a win-win situation.

Build up the bottom end and spare yourself the heartache linux is going through

That was probably aviodable with Bens suggestion.

You are going turbo and want to know what to buy. My opinion is buy an emanage, buy upgraded injectors and buy an upgraded fuel pump. These three items would be my first suggestion. Exhaust wont save your motor, ecu wont save your motor. What are cars lack from factory is a good fuel setup. If you can keep the right amount of fuel when it is needed then you will run reliably. If you need anything or any of these parts let me know. Or if you want a custom turbo setup let me know, we can have it setup.
